Specifications

3WA air circuit breakers come in three sizes for AC applications and one size for DC applications, covering a power range from 630 A to 6,300 A. They are available in both 3 and 4 pole versions, with a high breaking capacity (Icu) ranging from 42 kA up to 150 kA at 690 V AC.

Standards
  • Simple and interactive selection aids, along with function packages, ensure significantly reduced complexity in planning and selection. Based on the current IEC 60947-1/-2 standards, the 3WA can be used worldwide.
  • Type testing according to IEC 61439 is only required if new technical features of the 3WA air circuit breaker are utilized, such as high switching capacities.
  • The 3WA air circuit breaker is developed and manufactured in accordance with a certified quality management system that complies with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
